Asian Cabbage Salad
1 tsp dried sesame seeds, whole
4 cups cabbage, shredded
1 cup carrots, grated
4 Tbsp almonds, dry roasted, no salt added, chopped
4 Tbsp Newman’s Own low fat sesame ginger salad dressing
1 Tbsp white wine vinegar
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 tsp peanut oil
In a pan, toast sesame seeds over medium heat until golden brown.
Add ginger dressing, peanut oil, vinegar, and black pepper in a bowl and mix. Toss in cabbage and carrots and mix until the vegetables are oated. When ready to serve add almonds an sesame seeds.
